August sees the start of the new Premier League season, which in the grand scheme of things sits third in terms of importance behind the start of the new Sunday and Wednesday evening leagues at Powerleague Stockport.
On Sunday 15th August, while Liverpool and Arsenal will be locking horns in the first 'Super Sunday' of the season, the likes of Paraletic Athletic, Four in Hand, Shadwell and Team Tom will have only one thing on their minds, and that's their first game of the new Sunday league season, and if you are not already a part of it, it's not too late to register your team.
We are currently looking for new teams to make up what will be a 9th division, and we are in a position to offer teams 'pre season friendlies' if you wish to start before the 15th August. Games are priced at £32.50 per team per 50 minute game, and incentives are available to any existing weeknight teams who may want to enter a second team in the Sunday league.
Also on offer in August is the start of the new Wednesday league season on Wednesday 11th August. The current Wednesday league has 2 existing vacancies, so now is the time to register to make sure you don't miss out. Any team that registers and plays out the last game of the current season on Wednesday 4th August will guarantee their spot for the new league season, and give us a chance to ensure we find a league spot ideally suited to your teams standard.
