There was a lot less love in the air this Tuesday, with Valentines day well out of the way and football back at the top of the agenda (as it always should be.......).

It's a pair of familar names heading the pack in division 1, with Greg Ainsworth leading the way from FC Athletico ahead of next weeks meeting of the top two. Team Greg made it four wins out of four with a pair of wins last night, 13-11 against Dyslexia Untied and 13-3 against Stocs FC. Athletico are also on maximum points after they won their only game last night 7-1 against Inter Y Net, though they still lose top spot for now. Carnage Squad are third, but 6 points behind the top two after they picked up a second win of the season with a 12-6 win over Dyslexia (bad night for them), with Inter Y Net fourth after winning their other game 11-6 against Stocs (bad night for them also).

Two really close games and one not so close game in division 2, but no change at the top of the table with FC Poor Toe continuing their 100% record at the top of the table with a 3-2 victory over Deposrtivo Pongolle, who stay second after they picked up a 7-6 win in their other game over Brinny Allstars, who stay third. Bredbury FC picked up a first win with a comfortable 9-1 win over Bayern Neverlusen, to join last nights opponents on 3 points.

The 100% record in division 3 went last night, with FC Stockporto suffering their first defeat of the season, 6-5 to Milanchester, who thanks to this win and a 9-2 victory over Forrest Dancers, move into second place. Stockporto stay top thanks to an 8-4 win over Craig David FC in their other game. Ye Olde Cock Inn move up to third, ahead of Elokibi Allstars after a 7-2 win over them last night.

Pilky FC lead the way in division 4 with three wins out of three after a 10-5 win over Norfolk-An-Chance. They lead the way on goal difference from JSS United, who won two out of two last ngith, with a 6-1 win over Sons Of Pitches (still a great name) and a 10-5 win over Norfolk (another team who had a bad night).

Division 5 is still struggling to get going, with some of the new teams proving to be a little unreliable......... Only one game took place last night, and it saw Get Inter Minan move 3 points clear at the top after an 8-1 win over Cheadle FC. If anyone wants to register a team in this division please let us know.

Division 5 is the only league with spaces in the Tuesday league at the moment, so if you want to register a team feel free to give us a call on 01614429988 or email stockport@powerleague.co.uk.
