Given we had Liverpool v City yesterday afternoon, the turnout for the Sunday evening games was excellent. Only one game took place in division 1 last night, between FC Manchester and Da Boys, but for now there's not a lot we can really say about it...........
Division 2 also only had the one game (the turnout gets better as we go further down!), with 23rd Striker continuing their 100% record after a hard fought 10-8 win over Under Rated.
A full house of games in division 3 (told you it got better!) but no change at the top end with Class A Squad staying 6 points clear with a perfect record after 7 games. They ended The Veterans recent good run with a 12-8 victory. Inter Your Sister stay second, just, as they beat Inter Losin 8-7. Dynamos stay in contention for promotion thanks to a 9-2 victory over Asleep At The Back.
The clash of the top two in division 4 went the way of the leaders Milanchester Reborn. In a cracking top of the table encounter they came out on top 11-10 over Leave My Arsealona. FC Stockport have drawn level on 12 points with Leave My Arsealona after beating European FC 7-2. New boys 'Kyle' may be a little out of their depth in this division, as they were hammered 25-2 by The Bee Gees, who do their goal difference a world of good.
Grahams Giants and Athletico Pathetico both won again in division 5 to retain their control over the promotion places. Grahams Giants kept up their perfect season thus far by beating Wafty Crankers 13-6, with Athletico keeping up the pressure at the top by beating Withington FC 16-9.
Yet another 100% record was maintained, this time in division 6 where Substandard Liege were 6-4 winners over Can't Score For Crap. Range FC continued their great run and are up to second after beating Offerton FC 15-11, while Deportivo Lack Of Talent picked up a second win in a row and only their second win of the season with a 5-4 victory over Buzzin FC.
In the bottom division Norfolk And Chance nearly came unstuck against Hetty FC, but ended up running out 11-10 winners to stay top. HD FC have taken second spot as Milanchester did not play last night, after they beat Pick It Lick It Roll It Flick It FC 9-4.
