10 teams competed at Powerleague Gateshead at the annual Nandos Regional Tournament. For the second time in a matter of days Gateshead played host to a tense Regional Final which was eventually decided on penalties. This time it was Middlebrough's turn to claim the bragging rights as they beat Eldon Square 5-3 on penalties in the beaming sunshine. A good day was had by all and thanks was given to Gavin who helped to organise the event and the winners were joined by the other teams for a well earned drink in the bar afterwards.
