The Sunday 7-a-side season finished last weekend with BCE topping the first division after a gruelling 14 week campaign. The team remained top of the league throughout most of the season and finished unbeaten with just two draws blighting a near perfect campaign. The title wasn't won easily however, with the experienced 'Blindate' finishing just 4 points off top place. Usual Suspects had a good campaign finishing clear in 3rd place and with a few more consistant results, there is no doubt they can compete for a top two place next season. Two Scots, Argentina Turner and Meiklewood all battled to midtable places at the end of the season.
In Division 2, Cupid Stunts won the league in convincing fashion with a 9 point lead over their closest rivals. Inter Yer Maw kept pace for large parts of the campaign but a struggle for players saw their challenge diminish in the closing weeks of the season. Teams have come and gone in the campaign but we have new additions Loudoun FC and Bowled Over who look set to challenge for the top places in next seasons league 2.
