Starts Saturday 31st July- The World Cup Football Football programme runs every Saturday morning. Players can join at the start or part way through a programme. Everyone is welcomed and players of all abilities can get involved. As the most successful centre in the UK for kids coaching we are offering the 100th place free of charge. World Cup Nations programme: a 7 week programme starting from Saturday 31 July 2010 at Barnet
All the games are in a 5-a-side format which means players are always involved with more touches, more passes, more shots and more goals!
The programme costs £35 for the 7 weeks, i.e. £5 per week. We are running a special offer this period only (5 weeks for the price of 7)
As the number of players is strictly limited to 10 players per session all 7 sessions need to be booked in advance to guarantee your place. Each session is designed to be age appropriate to match the needs of the players and are run for players within 2 year age bands: 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12.
The emphasis will be on the needs of the children. For the younger age groups the priority will be basic physical literacy skills such as agility, balance and co-ordination with many touches of the ball with technical football skills and decision making introduced as children move into the older age groups.
Specific skills and techniques will be introduced each week and an adapted game will allow these skills to be developed. Each session will include ‘the match’ where the coach will encourage the skills to be used in a free play situation.
